Being a film maker is all about combining creativity, hard work and a balance between social and other aspects of living. It combines action and emotion to gain the attraction needed in producing a quality piece of work.

When you start your career as a film maker you need to have an open minded approach to life, take everything as they come and embrace different people because it is the combination of diverse talents that gives the real feeling of a unique fiction or non-fiction you might want to produce.

It is normal to be overloaded with thoughts of how and when you can break into the industry considering the level of competition you might face from other film makers - as difficult as it seems, it is equally easy, just be consistent. You don't need all the money in the world to be a great film maker, the Lumiere Brothers who first showed us moving images on television did not have all the money in the world to do film but they were able to amaze the face of the earth and set the pace for everyone. What you actually need is the positive attitude to wanting to make the difference in what you do.

Continue with your dreams, learn from your mistakes and accept advise and corrections.
